I made a payment manually, can I reverse it?

They say "Regret is a wasted emotion!!" What's done is done. 


So you made an early payment, and now you could do with getting your hands on the money again? 


Short answer - We can't do that. 


When we process a refund - we deduct the value of that refund from what we have already paid your favourite store. Then they would be out of pocket, and then the accountants start fighting. ?


How does the refund process work (for the consumer)?


Then you ask - "Surely it's easy just to reverse a payment without affecting the retailer?" - I suppose on one-off situations - but remember - PayJustNow is FREE to you, No interest - No Fees. All that admin is NOT free!


We built our payment flow so that you only do what you intended to do! Here is how:


When you are about to make a manual payment you need to intentionally do the following:


Select Pay Now


Select Authorise Payment


before we ask you to enter a 4 digit PIN only you know! In cases like this - It's all you ! And we love it! ?


When you are starting an order, we first give you an instalment plan to review and approve.


  1. The order is for the correct amount.
  2. The instalments are as I expect.
  3. I know the next instalment is on the date I chose.
  4. If I have more than one card loaded on my profile, that the right one is the default card!
  5. If I am unsure about anything - I can read the Terms and Conditions I am about to agree to.
  6. I am happy to confirm my order.


You then select "Confirm and Pay R{Amount}" before we ask you to enter a 4 digit PIN only you know! That is intent in our books. ?
